Ughhhhh.
We’re getting good at this, aren’t we?
Toothless. ‘Good at defending’, said Arsene. What rot. There was nothing to defend. It’s a bit like Israel being asked ‘So, how about that Gaza, eh, that’s a bit crap isn’t it?’ and them responding ‘No, I think we’re defending very well’.
Toothless, despite the introduction of Carl for the injured Eboue, which I think everyone was hoping would show him for the Mexican wonderboy he might be. It wasn’t so.
It would be wrong to say that I’m celebrating it, but in honour of his injury I have composed a few short verses to Emmanuel Eboue, and all his knowledge of What Arsene Did Last Summer. Bear with me – it’s to the tune of a famous pop song:
I know you know What Arsene Did
It won’t excuse your being shit
But you don’t really care for football do ya?
It goes like this – we’re fourth, we’re fifth
Though Spurs will fall and give us a lift
We’re all still delighted that you’re injured
Oh Eh-boo-eh
Oh Eh-boo-eh
Oh Eh-boo-eh
You are inn, in-in-in, in-in jured
Feel free to add your own verses if you fancy it.
On the plus side we didn’t lose, and our unbeaten run continues. Why Van Persie wasn’t playing I’ll never understand. Arsenal have scored 8 goals in January. Robin Van Persie has scored 3, and has 5 assists. 3 and 5 equals? You do the maths. Nicklaus Bentdner is, let us make no mistake, bad at playing football.
It’s doubly frustrating since Villa drew too, and though I never thought I’d find myself writing this it’s important that we try to close the gap on Villa before things get really out of hand, particularly given the fixture flurry headed our way what with replays and CL.
I’m not talking about transfers. It’s too sad.
But you can, if you like.

I know your frustrated and I had to let out a rant on my blog myself mate. Eboue is a wanker and he sucks but I’ll never be happy when a player’s genuinely hurt, it’s a bit much mate.

This is without a doubt the worst Arsenal Team Arsene has ever assembled, while I like other Gooners live and breath everything Arsenal, I find myself turning on the matches late and channel surfing while the match is on, this is a team without heart passion and flair. Apart from RVP would we miss any one if they left ?

We would miss Fabregas, Sagna, and Nasri of course if they left. The rest are perfectly replaceable. Although that is excluding youngsters such as Ramsey and Wilshere.

You morons have no idea what you’re talking about. We played well , yes even Eboue and Diaby did good. You are the kind of people who bring the vibes lower than they already are.

Positives from last nights game – EBOUE GOT INJURED ! I hope he is f#@ked and doesnt play for the rest of the season, Vela looked so much better on the right and I hope eboue is sold to Atletico or whoever is mental enough to want him – he is absolute garbage! The negatives besides the draw ofcourse was Diaby got injured as well and Ade pulled up with wat looked like a hamstring towards the end of the game – our squad is now paper thin and hopefully this will help Weng realize we need to cough up whatever the additional amount Zenit is askin to make this deal happen!
PS. pls get rid of Almunia he once again thew the ball straight to the other team like he did in the chelsea game and was lucky CC just shot straight at him ! to be a worldclass team u need a worldclass keeper -almunia is avg at best !!!

goocase u shoudl change your name to basketcase – yes diaby played well but eboue was garbage as usual – get your head outta your arse !

worst arsenal team i have ever seen!! It’s pathetic to watch them n quite frankly aston villa is doing much better than us, don;t be shocked if they break into top 4. however i still want arsenal to be in top 4, maybe at the expense of liverpool- another team playing woefull football despite strong(very strong) squad.
February 1st, 2009 at 7:31 am
im thinkin how depressing it gonna be watchin us play in the UEFA cup next year instead of the CL – i really wouldnt want to watch us play that but will end up doin it anyway and hopin we can win it – pathetic !

Pliz stop mourning. We created chances and had Adebayor scored at least one, then it would thave been much easier to score other goals. But it seems he’s now relaxed since he has his 80K a week

Methink Wenger & Arsenal management weren’t serious this season as we’ve been hagling 4 one player 4 more than one month while lesser teams were busy reinforcing their teams. I doubt very much if ever we’re going to catch up with Aston Villa the way we’re playing. We better start preparing 4 UEFA next season unless miracle happened.
