I’m baffled. Let me explain:
Sunday May 10, 2009: Carlos Tevez explains his summer intentions to the News of the World – “I want to play in England because it is the best league in the world and it suits my style. Any club I join, whether it be Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool or Everton, will be a rival of Manchester United.”
Monday May 11, 2009: SPURS JOIN TEVEZ RACE.
Hmmm.

Spurs will go for anyone who is available, regardless of who they upset in their squad, where do they get the money from?

What do you expect? It’s the scum. They make newspapers because of stupidity not because of good football.
Wouldn’t mind option 1 becoming true though…

My prediction for the close season:-
Wenger talks up strengthening the squad with one or two experienced players, but no more than that. All goes quiet as the papers link us with every reasonable player in every position in Europe. Wenger then says we don ‘t need anyone as he watches his players on the training pitch everyday and can see the quality and he has belief in them. RVP and Cesc make come and get me pleas in the press. Various board members make encouraging noises in the press about how Wenger has a £40M warchest at his disposal and how money has never been a problem. Wenger responds by selling Adebayor and puts Wilshire and Ramsey out on loan. Wenger says a signing is close. Weeks go by. Wenger (with pressure from Gazids) clinches a last minute signing of some 16 year old French striker.
Sounds all too familiar doesn’t it?

@ DB10 and anyone who is interested – I am not saying that anything is going to happen but read this:

Outrageous, DB10!
It’s going to be a long, long summer. We’ll be doing our best to make it as painless as possible on UpForGrabsNow.

fantastically right DB10….although i would love to see tevez come to arsenal…
from his west ham days i always thought he would be great Arsenal team player…
although i do know that wenger will probably do things just the way u say but i think defensive reinforcements are required…
one great all HEART defender at that….at the moment we only have fabregas with arsenal passion in his heart…albeit at a very childish level…he will cry if we lose …but what good will that do??
u need someone who goes all out… all the time… not fire crackers who make some noise and fizz out…but someone who plays with all his heart…
chelsea players showed heart and that is why they acted the way they did after the match…imagine if arsenal had had the same fate …we would just cry ourselves out…not give everything u have till the last sec….
i think we just need that one guy in the centre …midfield or defense who plays with arsenal in his heart…that is all we need…
