Forget hitzelberger and diarra. 1st option if not melo should definetly be more Cambiasso who has 1 year left on his contract but Inter have not started negotiations, might face competition from liverpool but if we get in there early he could be ours.

Why is there this mania about signing an overpriced player that until the transfer window opened, 90% of gunners fans had never heard of. The gutter press decide that we need a defensive midfield player and then trawl Europe for anyone available and link us to him. This would be a bad buy, and I will be shocked if Arsene has even enquired about him, whatever Fiorentina say. Just hold on to this thought, ‘before you loose sleep over us not spending big money on inferior players, the spuds have spent 160 million on players in the last 2 years example Zokora.

melo is probably the best option because he can provide attacking options as well but the problem is eboue cause if he goes we will need a backup rightback but i thunk if it was up to melo he will join juve but we might have an edge as juve are fiorentina’s rival club so they will think twicw before selling them a star player
